MMK uses Big Data to reduce ferroalloy consumption
A new software for optimising the steelmaking processes in an oxygen-converter has passed final tests before being put into operation by Russian steelmaker MMK. The programme is estimated to save 5% of ferroalloys used in the steelmaking process, Kallanish learns from the company.
