New products earn MMK first-half profit
Russian steelmaker MMK has developed new products, including 2,055mm wide flat products of S235J2 grade.
The firm aims to expand the size range of this grade at hot rolling mill-2500. The plant also produced sheet in 35mm, 40mm and 50mm thicknesses from “MAGSTRONG” W900QL steel.
It also began production of 5.5mm diameter wire rod in S2Ni2 and S3TiB grades. This will provide the MMK-Metiz plant with rolling stock for the manufacture of import-subs…
