MMK completes blast furnace revamp
MMK has completed the RUB 5.4 billion ($86.9 million) reline of blast furnace no.1 at its Magnitogorsk steelworks, which was carried out by Danieli, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker.
The relined blast furnace, one of eight at Magnitogorsk, now has a nearly 10% increased working volume when compared to the old design.
