Misif seeks exclusion from higher electricity rates
The Malaysian Iron & Steel Industry Federation is asking the new Pakatan Harapan-led government for preferential electricity rates, Kallanish notes. An electricity surcharge has been applied for the second half of this year. Last month, Misif requested for special natural gas tariff arrangements for the industry which would postpone tariff hikes.
