MISIF lowers Malaysia steel consumption forecast
The Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation (MISIF) has lowered its apparent steel consumption (ASC) forecast in Malaysia this year to 7.6 million tonnes from 7.8mt previously due to a slowdown in infrastructure projects in the country.
