Mise, Cevital agree on revised Aferpi action plan
The Italian economic development ministry, Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico (Mise), has announced that it has stepped up the pressure on Algeria’s Cevital to resolve the issues at long steelmaker Aferpi. This followed a meeting between a Mise team led by economic development minister Carlo Calenda, Cevital, the special commissioner Piero Nardi and the unions on 30 June.
