Minyuan Steel replaces old furnace with new capacity

China's Minyuan Iron & Steel in Henan Province has closed a blast furnace and will build a new one in its place, Kallanish notes. Henan Yongcheng city officials say Minyuan Steel will stop the operation of one 630 cubic-metre blast furnace, with 730,000 tonnes/year of iron capacity.
