Mintal triples Baotou stainless capacity investment
Mintal Group is tripling its ferritic stainless steel investment in Inner Mongolia's Baotou city, according to the city's Economy and Information Commission. It had previously announced it would build a 800,000 tonnes/year stainless steelworks with a total investment of CNY 4 billion ($580 million) (see Kallanish 18 November 2016).
