Minmetals tenders Yingkou plate shares
China Minmetals Corporation has publicly offered a controlling shareholding of its plate subsidiary in Yingkou city, Liaonin Province, on the China Beijing Equity Exchange.
A 54.0383% shareholding in Minmetals Yingkou Medium and Heavy Plate Company is available for purchase, Kallanish notes. Market participants believe this transfer of equity is a move towards the integration of steel production capacity in Liaoning Province.
