Minmetals exits import business to Europe
Chinese trading company Minmetals is closing its steel operations in Düsseldorf at the end of 2017 after ten years in business. As a consequence of the EU’s antidumping duties, the business of the unit in Europe has shrunk so that the Chinese parent has decided to end steel deliveries to Europe, Kallanish learns.
