Mingtuo cuts ferrochrome output in half in April
Inner Mongolia Mingtuo Group Chrome Industry Technology Co., Ltd. will suspend the production at two high-carbon ferrochrome furnaces in April, reducing its production capacity in April by -50%, Kallanish notes from local media.
The halting of these two 75,000kVA furnaces will result in a production loss of approximately 25,000-30,000 tonnes of product. Mingtuo has currently commissioned a total of 650,000 tonnes/year of ferrochromium capacity.
