Mineração Usiminas production rises, weaker prices slash revenue
Mineração Usiminas (Musa), the mining arm of Brazilian steelmaker Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas), saw production improve in the third quarter. Output rose over Q2 and was almost flat on-year mainly due to a better operational performance of the plants, Kallanish notes.
