Mincor to concentrate BHP nickel in 2022
Australian miner Mincor Resources is preparing to start processing BHP nickel ore and expects the first nickel concentrate sales by the June quarter of 2022, Kallanish notes.
Mincor has provided a start notice to BHP Nickel West for the supply of first ore to the Kambalda nickel concentrator in Western Australia. The capacity of Kambalda is about 200,000-600,000 tonnes/year, according to the company's official data.
