Millcon expects $3m loss on Myanmar delay
Thailand’s Millcon Steel says it expects to lose THB 100 million ($2.85m) because the Myanmar government has delayed a permit for its new construction steel plant in Thilawa Industrial Estate. Myanmar’s 3 million tonne/year steel market is expected to expand as the economy opens to the wider world, Kallanish notes.
