Millcon commissions Myanmar plant ahead of demand push
Thailand’s Millcon Steel has commissioned its 50,000 tonne/year welded pipe and construction steel fabrication plant in Myanmar’s Thilawa Special Economic Zone. It plans to initially export to Thailand but to also sell locally as demand surges, Kallanish notes.
