Mill shipments climb in US for August
US mill shipments increased by 8.2% from July to August, though they remain down significantly on-year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US mills shipped about 6.533 million short tons in July, up from 6.036m st in July. That’s down -22.9% from the 8.472m st shipped in August 2019.
