Miilux builds Turkey plant, gets new owner
Miilux plans to construct in 2019-2020 a plant in Manisa, Turkey that will double the Finnish firm’s steel hardening capacity. It will be owned by new subsidiary Miilux Turkey. Turkish pension fund Oyak will simultaneously become Miilux’s majority shareholder.
The agreement for Oyak to purchase Miilux’s shares from parent Miilukangas Group is conditional upon the approval of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland.
