Middle East/Africa demand surge propels Turkish billet exports
Turkish semi-finished product exports, the vast majority of which were billet, ballooned over ten-fold on-year in March to 261,867 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
