Middle East October output falls third consecutive month
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly report declined for a third consecutive month in October, falling -8.9% on-year to 2.27 million tonnes. This dragged the region’s year-to-date growth into negative territory for the first time in 2015 – ten-month output declined -0.1% to 23.18mt.
