Mid-East steel output uncharacteristically declines in November

Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report uncharacteristically declined in November, by -3.4% on-year to 2.99 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. This came as output in all countries slumped, including in largest producer Iran which registered an estimated -2.6% decline to 2.13mt.
