Mid-East output falls again despite Iran's continued resistance
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report fell for a second consecutive month in May, by -7.3% on-year to 3.14 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. It did, however, recover slightly from the 3.1mt produced in April.
