Mid-East exports to US decline, UAE, Turkey buck trend

Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt have shipped far less steel to the US so far this year versus 2020, but Turkey and United Arab Emirates’ US-bound exports have increased, Kallanish notes. In January-February UAE-origin steel imports into the US rose 13% on-year to 41,654 tonnes.
