Mexico's first-half steelmaking raw materials output falls
Mexican iron ore, pellet and first-grade coke production fell year-on-year in June, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexican iron ore production in June amounted to 829,168 tonnes, a -18.3% decrease y-o-y. This volume was also almost 145,756t, or -14.9%, down compared to that in May.
