Mexico's steel industry goes into minimum production mode
Mexican steel producers will maintain only minimal levels of activity during the Covid-19 quarantine in the country, according to a document from the Mexican authorities monitored by Kallanish.
The country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) announced on 6 April that all Mexican steelmakers "… whose suspension of activity may have irreversible effects for their continuity, will maintain minimum production operations.”
