Mexico’s May ore output drops sequentially, pellet rises

Mexico saw iron ore output fall month-on-month in May, Kallanish notes. Pellet production, however, was higher compared to April. According to data from local statistics provider Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), the country produced 594,810 tonnes of iron ore in May compared with 649,189t in the previous month.
