Mexico’s Frisa Steel builds new SBQ plant
Mexican seamless rolled rings and open die forgings manufacturer Frisa Frisa Steel has officially begun construction of its new special bar quality (SBQ) mill, Kallanish learns from the company.
The facility is located in Garcia, in Mexico’s Nuevo León state, and will have the capacity to produce 80 tonnes/hour of a wide range of carbon, alloy and stainless bars between 76.2-406.4mm for industrial applications.
