Mexico’s Ahmsa temporarily halts blast furnace
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) says it has temporarily halted its blast furnace number 6 as part of the company’s plan to reorder its production programme for 2020. It will also upgrade its coking facilities, Kallanish notes.
