Mexico`s steel production and consumption grows in 2017
The Mexican steel industry ended 2017 by improving steel production and consumption compared to 2016, Kallanish learns from data issued by the local steel association Canacero.
Crude steel production increased by 6.2% year-on-year, to 20.0 million tonnes in 2017, due to the positive effect of anti-dumping measures imposed by the government and the recovery in international prices.
