Mexico reviews quotas on Indian silicomanganese imports
Mexico has initiated a review to potentially extend a compensatory quota on imports of silicomanganese from India. This is according to a document from Mexican authorities monitored by Kallanish.
Authorities announced in the country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 5 October that Mexican miner and ferroalloy producer Minera Autlán petitioned that the removal of duties would negatively impact domestic production.
