Mexico launches investigation into Korea-origin ferromanganese imports
The Mexican government has initiated an investigation into imports of ferromanganese originating in South Korea, Kallanish learns from Mexico’s Official Journal of the Federation. The move follows the complaint lodged in November by Mexican miner and ferroalloy producer Autlan.
According Autlan, in 2014 approximately 47% of Mexican ferromanganese imports were manufactured in Korea. In 2015 this percentage increased to 87.3%.
