Mexico imposes quotas on Chinese wind towers
Mexico’s Secretary of Economy (SE) has imposed a definitive compensatory quota on imports of Chinese tubular steel structures. This is according to a document published in the country’s Official Gazette of the Federation on 5 October, monitored by Kallanish.
The product is used in the construction of steel wind turbine towers for the energy sector and is classified under HS code 8502.31.01.
