Mexican crude steel production surges on-year in March
Mexican crude steel production grew year-on-year both in March and in the first quarter of 2017, Kallanish learns from the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
Mexico totalled 1.83 million tonnes of crude steel in March, up by 35.7% during the same month of 2016. The country`s steel production reached 5.18mt in the first quarter of 2017, 24.1% higher than the 4.17mt in the same period of 2016.
