Mexican steelmakers warn on new energy law
The new energy transition law (LTE) approved by the Mexican senate on December 11 could represent a risk for the domestic steel industry, says the country’s steel association Canacero. The law contains goals and mechanisms for the incorporation of renewable energies into the country’s electricity grid, Kallanish notes.
