Mexican steel exports to US grow in May
The volume of steel exports from Mexico to the US continued to grow in May following increases recorded in March and April, Kallanish learns from US trade administration department.
Exports of Mexican steel products into the US grew by 15.1% year-on-year, reaching 230,622 tonnes in May. Mexico remains the fifth largest source of steel products, behind Canada, Russia, Brazil and South Korea.
