Mexican iron ore production dips in February
Mexican iron ore output continued to decrease year-on-year in February, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 869,191 tonnes of iron ore during the second month of 2019, down -7.5% y-o-y and -17.2% compared to January. Cumulative output reached 1,979,471t or 90,638t less than during the January-February period of 2018.
