Mexican steel exports to US rise in March
After several months of progressive reduction, exports of steel products from Mexico to the US increased by 39.4% year-on-year to 252,614 tonnes in March, Kallanish learns from US trade administration department preliminary statistics.
In spite of the positive performance, Mexico was the fifth largest importer into the US in March. In 2015 the country was repeatedly the third main supplier of steel to the US on a monthly basis.
