Mexican crude steel output falls again in May
After the -6.6% on-year contraction recorded in the first quarter and the -7.3% fall seen in April, Mexican crude steel production continued to shrink in May, Kallanish learns from the World Steel Association (worldsteel).
Crude steel output in Mexico shrunk by -4.1% on-year to 1.5 million tonnes in May, while five-month output fell -6% to 7.2mt.
