MetRes to operate Millennium, Mavis Downs in August
MetRes plans to operate the Millennium and Mavis Downs coking coal project in August and to ship the first coal in October, Kallanish notes.
The subsidiary jointly established by Stanmore Coal and M Resources (MetRes) has completed the acquisition of the coal mine. According to MetRes chairman Matt Latimore, rail and port contracts are under way.
The coal project will follow the coal auguring and open cut mining methods with underground mining in the future.…
