Metinvest starts production of new steel for export
Metinvest has started during quarantine the commercial production of 16 new types of steel products destined for eight countries, the company says.
The Azovstal plant, in particular, began to produce 13 new types of products in the plate shop and two more in the converter shop, Kallanish notes. Total investment was UAH 331 million ($12.4m). The plant also finished the modernisation of 21 units of equipment.
