Metinvest to establish plate service centre
Ukriane's Metinvest has reached an agreement with Smart Maritime Group (SMG) to set up a plate processing service centre based on the Ukrainian shipbuilder's shipyards in southern Ukraine.
The move is in line with the steelmaker's "... strategy of downstream development of services in the processing of rolled steel products," it says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
