Metinvest: Azovstal operates normally after iron spill
Ukraine’s Azovstal steelworks continues to operate normally after a hot iron spill due to mixer No.1 caving in on 12 July, parent company Metinvest says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
The incident is being investigated by a special-purpose committee. The producer is using an alternative method of delivering iron from the blast furnace to the converter shop, along with mixer No.2, it adds.
