Metalloinvest ceo Andrey Varichev passes away
Russian miner and steelmaker Metalloinvest's chief executive, Andrey Varichev, has died unexpectedly after a short but severe illness, the company says.
According to the Kursk regional administration's press service, Varichev died from double pneumonia. He was twice tested for Covid-19 but received a negative result each time, the service says.
