Metalloinvest signs three HBI supply deals
Metalloinvest has signed long-term contracts to supply hot-briquetted iron (HBI) to three Russian steelmakers, MMK, TMK and ChelPipe, Kallanish learns from the company.
Each of the agreements will cover a period of one year. Metalloinvest will deliver 570,000 tonnes of HBI overall. MMK, TMK and ChelPipe will purchase 200,000t, 220,000t and up to 150,000t, respectively.
