Metalloinvest starts HBI-3 plant commissioning
Metalloinvest’s Lebedinsky GOK has begun the commissioning phase of its third hot-briquetted iron plant, HBI-3, Kallanish learns from the company. Production at HBI-3 will begin at the end of 2016 or the start of 2017.
The conveyor belt system, which will transport pellets to HBI-3 Plant, is also nearing completion, while the briquette sorting machine is also being fitted. The trial run of the conveyor belt is planned for the end of November.
