Metalloinvest revenue drops in H1
Metalloinvest reported a decline in iron ore, pellet and HBI sales to $841 million in the first half of 2016 compared to over $1 billion in H1 2015, while revenue from pig iron and steel fell to $1 billion versus $1.2 billion.
The decline in revenue was mainly the result of a drop in iron ore and steel prices by -13% and -16%, respectively, and local currency depreciation by -22%, Kallanish learns from the Russian company’s financial report.…
