Metalloinvest iron ore product shipments rise in 2015
Russia’s Metalloinvest posted a 0.6% on-year rise in consolidated iron ore product shipments to 27.6 million tonnes in 2015 as the share of shipments in the domestic market increased “… significantly”, the company says.
The -2.1% decline in iron ore shipments to 10.8mt was compensated by a 3.9% rise in pellet sales to 14.4mt and a 3.8% rise in HBI/DRI sales to 2.4mt in the past year.
