Air separation unit revamp improves Metalloinvest efficiency
Russian miner, metallics and steel producer Metalloinvest and Linde Gas Novotroitsk LLC have started the active construction phase of the air separation unit at Ural Steel, part of Metalloinvest.
Investment in the overhaul of the oxygen block at the new air separation unit No.6 will amount to about RUB 800 million ($11m), Kallanish notes. Completion of the upgrade and launch of the facility are planned for the first quarter of 2021.
