Merrill Steel wins stadium contract
US steel fabricator and erector Merrill Steel has landed a contract for 10,000 short tons of steel for the planned Las Vegas Stadium, Kallanish learns from local media reports.
The total $1.9 billion project is slated for completion in 2020. The cost for the steel tonnage and erection services was not disclosed.
The stadium will be the home base for the National Football League’s Raiders and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas’ Rebels.
