Merafe Resources first-half ferrochrome output shrinks
In the first half of the year, South African listed firm Merafe Resources Limited (MRL) posted a 9% on-year decrease in its attributable ferrochrome production from the Glencore Merafe Chrome Venture (JV).
MRL recorded an output of 185,000 tonnes in H1, versus 203,000t in the same period last year, Merafe says without giving sales or revenue figures.
