First-quarter ferrochrome benchmark price settles unchanged: Merafe
South Africa-listed mining company Merafe Resources Ltd (MRL) says the European benchmark ferrochrome price for the first quarter of 2023 has settled at $1.49/lb, unchanged from Q4 2022.
In Q3, the European benchmark ferrochrome price was at $1.80/lb, a 16.7% decrease from Q2 (see Kallanish passim).
